Every year since we started over 20 years ago we compiled our herd statistics to help us determine our progress. Its a very simple, but important, step to make sure we were going the right direction.

We are very pleased to see that even though our herd is getting older our fiber production remains fine. I have no doubt that if we were around for another generation or two we’d see the average fall below 20 for all our breeding age alpacas.

Breeders only have two decisions to make that will determine their success. What stock to buy and who to breed them to. Time will tell how you did.  Let us show you how you can predict where your herd will be in the next couple of generations.
